BenQ TH671ST is a 1080p short-throw home cinema projector that delivers up to a 100" diagonal image from about 1.5 m distance, with 3000 ANSI lm brightness and DLP technology for a high-contrast, detailed picture. Thanks to its low input lag and dedicated gaming modes, it is especially suitable for console and PC gaming, as well as sports broadcasts and movies in a living room or gaming space.
The BenQ TH671ST is a short-throw Full HD (1920x1080) DLP projector designed for big-screen fans who don’t have much space but want a true cinema and gaming experience at home. Its short-throw lens allows projection of an approximately 100-inch image from a distance of about 1.5 m (4.9 ft), making it ideal for small rooms, attics, or gaming corners close to a wall.
With 3000 ANSI lumens brightness and around 10,000:1 contrast, the projector maintains a clear, vibrant image even in dim daylight or with lights on. DLP technology ensures good micro-contrast and smooth motion, important for sports broadcasts and fast-paced scenes.
One of its key strengths is the low latency—around 16–16.7 ms at 1080p/60 Hz, and even lower at higher refresh rates, which makes it highly suitable for console and PC gaming. Combined with fast DMD response and dedicated gaming modes, this minimizes motion blur and controller-to-screen delay.
The TH671ST offers automatic vertical keystone correction (up to about ±40°), which simplifies table or ceiling setup when the projector isn’t perfectly centered to the screen. Built-in features such as BenQ LumiExpert can adjust brightness according to ambient light, keeping the image comfortable for the eyes under different conditions.
The device includes 2 x HDMI inputs, VGA (D-sub), audio in/out, and USB, allowing easy connection to consoles, PCs, streaming devices, Blu-ray players, and set-top boxes. The built-in speaker is convenient for quick use, but for a more serious cinema or gaming setup, an external audio system can be easily added via the available audio outputs.
Its compact body—measuring about 296 x 120 x 224 mm and weighing around 2.7 kg—makes it easy to move between rooms or set up temporarily for movie nights and parties. Combined with the short-throw optics, this is a practical solution for people who can’t install a permanent projector in a large living room but want a big screen whenever they need it.
