The AC7420 supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode 1.4 with a maximum resolution of 4K@60Hz and is backward compatible with USB 3.2, USB 3.1, USB 3.0, and USB 2.0.
Fast data, high power, and video through a single USB4® cable
The AC7420 features an intelligent e-marker chip. This chip communicates with connected devices, such as a laptop or charger, to confirm the functions supported by the cable. The AC7420 can handle data, power, and video simultaneously.
USB4® 20Gbps
The AC7420 USB-C cable includes USB4® technology. The cable supports a maximum data transfer speed of up to 20Gbps.
Power delivery: Extended Power Range 240W
EPR adds additional power profiles of 28V, 36V, and 48V to the USB4® cable. The AC7420 includes the 48V profile, allowing the cable to deliver a maximum power of 240W. Other cables with Standard Power Range (SPR) and without an e-marker can deliver only up to 60W.
DisplayPort Alternate Mode protocol
The USB4® cable supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode 1.4 (DP Alt Mode) protocol for video transmission over USB-C. The AC7420 supports a maximum resolution of 4K@60Hz.
