As a true 4K HDMI EDID emulator, the VC081A is designed to emulate and store a set of EDID from the connected
display, while facilitating the transmission of 4K video. By learning the EDID from the HDMI display and forwarding it to
video source, VC081A helps to eliminate video communication problems that occur due to error in
synchronize EDID data between the HDMI video source and the connected display. This adapter contains a unique
"learning button switch" to allow EDID to be effectively assimilated and stored. Once EDID be
memorized, VC081A can be used to keep a computer or server awake from a remote location over IP instead
from the monitor. VC081A is an ideal device to avoid problems with dark or flashing displays caused by communication
errors between sources and displays.
